For years, I struggled in silence. I knew I learned differently. I understood that I processed words, numbers, and even emotions in a way that didn’t seem to match the world around me. But I didn’t have the words for it — just the feeling of being behind, being too much trouble, and yet somehow not enough. Eventually, I was diagnosed with dyslexia.

And while that gave me a label… it didn’t give me peace.
I was still carrying the shame of years spent trying to keep up, the exhaustion of hiding my struggles, and the fear that maybe I just wasn’t “called” the way other women were.
 

But God…
 

God didn’t leave me in that place.

He began showing me that my learning difference wasn’t a mistake. It was part of my design. And not just for my growth — but for my calling.

Over time, I learned to embrace who I am—not just as a woman with dyslexia but also as a daughter of God — equipped, empowered, and ready to thrive.

That’s why I started my podcast: Women Thriving with Dyslexia. It’s a space for Christian women, even if you don’t have dyslexia, to be ministered to. It’s for women who love Jesus, may learn differently, and are ready to stop living in the shadows.

I also launched my coaching practice: One Step Christian Life Coaching, to walk alongside women who are tired of feeling “less than” and ready to step into the truth of who they are — brilliantly made and beautifully equipped.
